ABOUT US

The Pinjarra Visitor Centre, situated at the new Pinjarra Heritage Train Station, Fimmel Lane off Pinjarra-Williams Road (located at Pinjarra Station as per the Google Map), has both Business and Tourism Accreditations and is supported by the Shire of Murray.

The monthly Community Newspaper (1,400 copies) produced by volunteers at the Centre, is distributed throughout the Shire and members of the Visitor Centre are offered reduced fees for advertising, along with free editorials. The Visitor Centre also produces a monthly Calendar of Events.

Another service provided by the Centre is to read and record Pinjarra'sofficial rainfall.
Our main function at the Visitor Centre is to provide information on local attractions, facilities, products, services and events within Pinjarra, Murray Shire, the Peel Region and beyond. We rely on membership support, which allows us to continue providing a range of services to both local residents and visitors to the Shire of Murray.

Businesses and non-business members within the Shire of Murray are invited to sign up as members of the Pinjarra Visitor Centre which enables them to receive the benefits of promotion through all six Peel Region Visitor Centres via our reciprocal relationship. These Centres include those located in Mandurah, Dwellingup, Waroona, Serpentine/Jarrahdale and Rockingham. By working collaboratively, the Peel Region Visitor Centres endeavour to increase awareness of tourism products throughout Pinjarra and the Peel Region
